Richard (Ric) joined Seniors Come Share in 2018, initially working in the Day Program and has since found the ideal role as the Caregiver and Family Services Coordinator. His passion for seniors and providing solutions to increase the quality of life for older adults and their care providers is what drives him to make the most of each day. He thrives on the challenge and rewards that comes with working closely with “the real heroes”, the families and caregivers who provide steadfast support day in and day out to loved ones throughout the journey of elder care. Along with varied career and academic pursuits in the arts, he has completed advanced studies in the areas of mental health, gerontology and palliative care, while progressing his way towards currently achieving BSc-HS in Health and Human studies, as well as Psychiatric Nursing. Rarely ever really removed from work; whether it be volunteering, furthering studies, spending quality 1-1 time with some special souls in his care, or savoring down time with his best pal Tanner (Therapy Dog), he is truly happiest where the focus is on positively impacting the lives of those in the community.
