What is Seniors’ Centre Without Walls?

The Seniors’ Centre Without Walls (SCWW) is a great way to get connected with others all from the comfort of your own home! The program offers brief 30-minute interactive telephone conference sessions where you can laugh and socialize, learn new skills, and create new connections. Even better yet, the program is completely free to participate in! The Seniors’ Centre Without Walls is available for all seniors 55+ living in Surrey or White Rock. Programs are primarily delivered in English, but there are plans to launch programs in multiple languages in the future!

How do I join?

All you have to do is download the program guide, decide which programs you are interested in, then call the SCWW Coordinator to register! If a program requires print materials, they will be mailed to you after you register. You can also choose to receive new program guides in three different ways: (1) by mail, (2) by e-mail, or (3) download it online!

On the day of the programs you have registered for, you will receive a phone call from the program to join the conference call. Just dial ‘1’ when prompted and you’re in! Its as  easy as that. No need to remember multiple phone numbers or access codes!

The Seniors’ Centre Without Walls is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors program and is brought to you by the Surrey Intercultural Seniors Social Inclusion Partnership (SISSIP) Network. The SISSIP Network is a multi-organization collective impact, working together to create greater awareness, appreciate, and acceptance of different cultures to make Surrey and intercultural and socially inclusive community for its seniors 55+.
